From initial contact with the vets at Ashbourne all of the team were professional and helful. The care and treatment provided from the operation to the final discharge was excellent.

I really can’t put in to words how amazing this cruciate surgery has been. My beagle who was sad and inactive is now back!! Karl has been fabulous, no fuzz, no stress and explained and delivered the whole process at almost half what my own vet had quoted. I would recommend orthopaedic vets Ashbourne without hesitation to anyone. A real pleasure to deal with, honest and genuine. The follow up phone call and surprise treat in the bag shows they really care about the animals and the service they deliver.

Cannot thank Karl enough! After our pomeranian puppy suffered a broken leg on a Friday evening, he admitted him straight away and completed the surgery on the Saturday and he was home that evening! He made an appointment for 8 weeks later and Boycie has made a full recovery and is back to himself! The care, patience and comfort from Karl was second to none! Our Sproodle Bentley ruptured his cruciate ligament and we were referred to Orthopaedic vet’s to help. From the first phone call everyone has been very helpful at a very stressful time for us and we feel, went out of their way to help. On Bentleys operation day we met Bart who talked us through the procedure and the aftercare that was required. It was daunting to think how calm we needed to keep our Sproodle who “springs” for fun at every opportunity but we followed Bart’s advice and yesterday 30/9 Bentley got the all clear. The operation has been successful, the x rays showed a well healed joint and in another months time Bentley will be able to enjoy his first run. From start to finish we have always felt well supported by all the staff and we and Bentley can’t thank everyone at Orthopaedic vets enough. Thank you

We were referred to Ashbourne Orthopaedic vets by our local vets after Rocky had a x-ray on his rear leg and they said he needed an operation. Within a week we were there meeting Karl who was going to operate on Rocky, he explained all about the complexity of the operation and we felt at ease straight away. We picked Rocky up later in the day after a phone call off Karl, Rocky was pleased to see us and recovered well over the next 8 weeks. Rocky seems like a different dog now ,full of life and so happy. We can't thank Karl and all the staff enough and would most certainly recommend this vets. Thank you so much !

Huge thanks to Karl and the team for taking care of our precious cat Lily. Lily was attacked by a dog in January and our local vet referred her to Orthopaedic Vet for surgery. Karl worked his magic, fixing her broken jaw and tooth. Pleased to say she’s made a full recovery.
